S. Kiladze worked as a photo correspondent in newspapers "Komunisti" and "Izvestia". Was a manager and an inspirer of photo club "Sakartvelo". The club held several exhibition abroad.

In 1980 under the initiative of S. Kiladze Georgian meeting of photo-artists was held. In 1992 Georgia became a member of FIAP.
