A. Digmelov worked for the cinematography since 1910. He started with short chronical plots. He worked as the cameraman with film director I. Perestiani for the films "The red Imps", "Tariel Mklavadze". Among his best pictures are: "Arsena" (1937), "Giorgi Saakadze" (1943), "Magdana's Lurja" ( 1956, in cooperation with L. Sukhov).
