In 1881 J. Andronicashvili graduated the Institute of Road-Ingeniering in Petersburg. There he took up a photography too. J. Andronicashvili was a famous ingenier and builder, who has built number of roads in Georgia. He was one of the initiators and builder of railway in Kakheti.

He was a gifted musician, the member of Tiflis department of Russian Society of Music. He participated in arrangement held to honour the arrival of Peter Chaikovski in 1889 and shot all the interesting moments.

These photos are kept in the home-museum of composer in the city Klin.
